System Administrator

TS clearance or higher required
PVM is seeking an experienced System Administrator. You will be working with a dynamic, experienced, and fun team solving challenging data integration issues for our Department of Justice client. This position is in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
• Gather necessary information and respond to customer inquiries over email/through ticket-based software support desk systems
• Reproduce and diagnose issues reported by clients and build a process to streamline future troubleshooting
• Become an expert of relevant data sources for a given client and respond to questions about data quality or help users obtain data in the Palantir platform
• Troubleshoot Python and Java data pipelines, including monitoring pipeline health, debugging pipeline failures, and making ad hoc changes to pipeline code to support user requests
• Maintain and contribute towards user-built applications within the Palantir platform
• Identify trends in support issues and work with Palantir engineering teams to resolve problem root causes
• Work closely with Engineers on the team, as well as interfacing with the Product Development Org to support our production footprint and troubleshoot issues
• Write and maintain enterprise data integration pipelines
• Reverse engineer existing code in effort to update and improve software efficiency
• Assist with technical projects, including scoping work, interfacing with other teams, and collaborating to other engineers
Requirements:
• ACTIVE TS CLEARANCE OR HIGHER WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED*
• 3+ years of relevant working experience
Education:
• BS/BA or equivalent experience
Preferred, not required:
• Experience with Palantir Gotham or Palantir Foundry
• Palantir-provided FSR Training
• New Palantir Technologies Training
Tools:
• Experience writing production data pipelines in at least one of the following coding languages: Python, Groovy, Java
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing and data pipeline development, and ontology development
• Experience with relational and non-relational (NoSQL) database schema design
Skills:
• Strong communication skills with an ability to explain and demonstrate complex concepts in an easily understood manner
• Flexible and can operate within diverse environments with varying organizational cultures
Salary: $95,000- $135,000
